COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Updates

Effective immediately, the Raven Café will be closed as we initiate COVID protocols due to an employee testing positive for the virus. The employee’s last day of work was on 11/10, and since then they developed symptoms and were tested for COVID-19 on 11/14. The test came back positive today, 11/18, at 4pm, and the Raven closed at 5pm. All employees will be tested, and anyone with a positive result will quarantine for 10 days. The Raven will reopen once we have determined we can provide the safest possible service to our wonderful customers. We value our community’s health above everything else, and will continue to take precautions for preventing the spread of COVID-19 congruent with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and Johns Hopkins University. We hope to see you all soon. Thank you for your support of the Raven, and of our community.

Staying healthy and mitigating the risk of contracting COVID-19 will require your help. Protect yourself and exercise social responsibility. Maintain at least six (6) feet social distancing from others when possible. Wear a mask when possible. Wash your hands using soap and water for at least twenty (20) seconds as frequently as possible. Carry hand sanitizer and use it frequently. During your stay here at The Raven Cafe, regularly clean and sanitize your hands. Please do not congregate in large groups and limit touching as many surfaces as possible. Respect the distance of our staff. Clean and wipe down personal items such as phones and wallets. Avoid contact with others who are sick. If you feel sick, isolate yourself from others and seek medical attention.

Thank you for supporting The Raven Cafe.
